Help readers put an idea to work
Our readers include business owners, marketers, product teams and technical practitioners. We welcome contributors who can explain a decision, show the process and be honest about its limitations. Malaysian and Southeast Asian examples are especially useful; relevant lessons from elsewhere are welcome too.

02 / Editorial standards
Experience first. Evidence throughout.
- Make a new contribution. Send original, unpublished work rather than a lightly rewritten article or a generic list of tools.
- Explain the details. Include the context, approach, trade-offs and what another team could apply. Distinguish prototypes from deployed systems.
- Support your claims. Link to reliable sources. For your own results, explain the period, baseline and measurement method. Do not invent quotations or performance figures.
- Keep it readable. Use descriptive headings, short paragraphs and plain English. Let the subject determine the length rather than padding to reach a word count.
- Protect people and clients. Remove names, phone numbers, private messages, credentials and confidential business data from examples and screenshots. Get permission for client material.
- Use visuals you can share. Original diagrams and screenshots are valuable. Identify the source and usage permission for other images.
Using AI responsibly
AI can help with research, outlines and editing, but the named author must check the facts, sources and final argument. Tell us how AI assisted your submission and what you contributed firsthand. Unreviewed generated copy, fabricated citations and misleading demonstrations are not suitable.
We do not consider disguised advertisements, plagiarised work, mass-submitted filler, harmful instructions or articles unrelated to our readers.
03 / Links & attribution
Credit the author. Serve the reader.
Accepted contributions can include a short author bio and one relevant website or professional-profile link. Contextual references belong in the article when they substantiate a claim or help someone understand the work.
Use your name, company name or naturally descriptive text. We do not offer paid ranking-credit links, require reciprocal backlinks or accept forced commercial anchors. Disclose relevant affiliations and commercial interests.
Our editors decide which links remain and how they are qualified, including nofollow or sponsored attributes where appropriate. Publication does not guarantee a dofollow link, indexing, traffic or a ranking improvement.
04 / Send a pitch
Start with the idea, not a full draft
Email info@blackstoneintelligence.com.my with the subject Guest Article Pitch - [Your Topic]. Include:
- A working title and the specific question your article will answer.
- A short outline explaining what readers will learn.
- Your role, relevant hands-on experience and one or two writing samples, if available.
- The evidence or visuals you can share, plus any AI assistance or commercial affiliations.
We assess the idea for relevance, originality and evidence. If it fits, we can discuss the outline and draft format before you write. Review may involve revisions, fact checks and link changes; a submission is not a publication commitment. Do not send confidential files in an initial pitch.
Email your pitch05 / Common questions
Before you send
Can a company or agency contribute?
Yes. Identify your affiliation and focus on useful lessons rather than selling a service. An implementation walkthrough or a carefully scoped experiment is more useful than a promotional overview.
Can I reuse a published case study?
You can propose a new article informed by your project, but disclose existing coverage. Do not send the same published text or offer an identical article to several publishers at once.
Do I need to be based in Malaysia?
No. We consider relevant expertise from any location. Explain how your experience applies to the businesses or practitioners who read Blackstone's insights.
Can I request a link without contributing an article?
You may suggest a correction or a genuinely useful source for an existing article. Explain its relevance. Link inclusion is an editorial decision, not a placement service.
